LashGage is an offline mechanical precision utility engineered for automotive drivetrain builders, transmission technicians, and engine rebuilders. GEAR BACKLASH & DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER SHIM CALCULATOR
- Compute required carrier shim thickness changes to bring backlash into manufacturer specification.
- Supports 14.5°, 20.0°, and 25.0° gear tooth pressure angles for Dana, Ford, GM, and aftermarket hypoid gearsets.
- Provides directional left/right carrier shim thickness changes in thousandths of an inch (0.001 in) and hundredths of a millimeter (0.01 mm).
