PanFlip: Kitchen Sear Timer
Precision two-stage sear, flip, and rest kitchen timer for proteins.
PanFlip is a specialized kitchen timer engineered to eliminate overcooked proteins and uneven sears. Designed specifically for cast iron cooking, stovetop searing, and grilling, PanFlip simplifies two-stage timing for steaks, fish fillets, smash burgers, pork chops, and delicate items like grilled cheese. Traditional kitchen timers only count down a single interval, forcing you to manually calculate flip splits and resting times while managing hot cookware. PanFlip calculates precise side-A and side-B ratios alongside post-cook resting durations, helping you achieve consistent crusts and ideal internal doneness. Key Features: - Two-Stage Flip Timing: Automatically calculates and alerts when it is time to flip your protein for balanced heat distribution. - Integrated Resting Counter: Prompts and monitors carryover cooking times so juices redistribute properly before serving. - High-Contrast Cooking View: Clean, legible interface allows quick glances across the kitchen without distraction. - Single-Tap Presets: Quick-start timers optimized for common pan-searing scenarios and protein thicknesses. - Audio and Vibration Alerts: Clear stage transitions ensure you never miss a flip or rest interval. - 100% Offline Architecture: Fully functional without an active internet connection, ideal for remote grilling or low-connectivity kitchen setups. - Privacy Focused: No accounts, no mandatory sign-ups, and zero background analytics or tracking. Take the guesswork out of pan-searing. Master temperature control and consistent doneness with an intentional, dedicated cooking sentinel.
