1. Overview
PitchGrid is committed to user privacy. We believe that professional audio and acoustic tools should respect your device and data. PitchGrid is an entirely offline utility that does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information.
2. Permissions & Data Access
- No Internet Access: PitchGrid does not declare the `android.permission.INTERNET` permission and cannot communicate with any remote servers or third-party networks.
- Audio Output: Uses the local Android `AudioTrack` API strictly for local real-time PCM audio playback through your device's audio hardware or headphones. PitchGrid never records microphone audio or accesses external audio files.
- Vibration: Uses `android.permission.VIBRATE` solely to provide subtle tactile haptic feedback when pressing rack buttons and adjustment steppers.
- Local Storage: Any presets you save are stored locally on your device in an isolated private SQLite database. No data is transmitted externally.
3. Third-Party Analytics & Advertising
PitchGrid contains zero third-party software development kits (SDKs), zero analytics engines, and zero advertising networks.
