ScreenStream RTSP: Low-Latency Screen Broadcaster

Category: Multimedia & Networking • Effective Date: October 2, 2026 • Last Updated: October 9, 2026

1. Introduction & Application Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android mobile application ScreenStream RTSP: Low-Latency Screen Broadcaster (the "Application"), developed and published by Eliakim Rosil ("we", "us", or "our") under the KimRosil App Studio portfolio (https://apps.kimrosil.com).

The Application is designed as a standalone, offline-first mobile utility: Low-latency local network RTSP live screen broadcasting server utilizing Android MediaProjection API.

This policy details how data is handled strictly on your Android device and outlines our adherence to Google Play Store Data Safety and Google AdMob monetization policies.

2. Offline-First Architecture & Local Device Storage

Zero Server Data Collection: We do NOT operate, maintain, or communicate with any remote developer servers or databases to harvest, store, or transmit your personal data.

  • Local Sandboxing: All application inputs, timer logs, calculations, user notes, and configuration settings are stored exclusively on your local device in Android's sandboxed storage (SharedPreferences or local SQLite database).
  • Data Ownership: Your personal data never leaves your device. We do not track, profile, broker, or monetize your personal user records.
  • Data Deletion: Uninstalling the Application or clearing its storage in Android Settings (Settings → Apps → ScreenStream RTSP: Low-Latency Screen Broadcaster → Storage & Cache → Clear Storage) permanently and irreversibly deletes 100% of local application data.

3. Third-Party Advertising & Monetization (Google AdMob)

To support ongoing independent development and keep this utility completely free of charge, the Application may display digital advertisements served by Google AdMob (a service provided by Google LLC).

Google Mobile Ads SDK Data Collection:

When advertisements are loaded, the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) may automatically collect and process certain pseudonymous device and diagnostic telemetry strictly for advertising delivery, contextual frequency capping, fraud prevention, and performance diagnostics:

  • Device & Advertising Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (AAID / GAID) for ad attribution and ad personalization (when enabled).
  • Approximate Location: Non-precise location inferred from your IP address (country or city level) to serve regionally relevant ads.
  • Diagnostics & SDK Performance: Ad interaction events, crash diagnostics, and device characteristics (e.g. device model, Android OS version).

Google Privacy Policies & Terms

For complete details on how Google processes and safeguards advertising data, please consult:

User Controls & Opting Out of Personalized Ads

You can reset or delete your Google Advertising ID or opt out of personalized advertisements at any time directly through your Android device settings:

  1. Open Android Settings.
  2. Go to Google → Ads (or Security & Privacy → Privacy → Ads on Android 12+).
  3. Tap Delete advertising ID or turn on Opt out of Ads Personalization.

4. Device Permissions Requested by ScreenStream RTSP: Low-Latency Screen Broadcaster

The Application requests only the minimal platform permissions necessary to execute its specific offline utility features on your device:

Permission Reason & On-Device Processing Guarantee
POST_NOTIFICATIONS Display on-device alarm notifications and timer countdown alerts when timers expire. No alert content is transmitted remotely.
VIBRATE Provide tactile haptic alarms and cue alerts upon timer completion.

All permission-gated features are executed strictly on your local hardware. No camera feeds, sensor signals, or notification texts are ever uploaded to remote servers.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Families Compliance)

The Application is designed as a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe personal data has inadvertently been processed, please contact us immediately at eliakimrosil@gmail.com.
